On this bike tour, you will cycle around the deep blue waters of the Obersee and Rursee lakes and be enchanted by the surrounding landscape of the Eifel National Park. The idyllic Eifel lake district is surrounded by deep forest and a green pasture landscape.

Interesting facts about the Eifel Lake District:

It consists of Obersee, Urftsee and Rurtalsperre Schwammenauel and is also known as the "Amazon of the Eifel".

Here you will find many rare animal and plant species such as beavers, eagle owls, wildcats, honey buzzards and red kites as well as bear's root and daffodil meadows or deer tongues and beech ferns.

The lakes are located in the only national park in North Rhine-Westphalia.
