Whether you’re following on from the first section or enjoying an active day out, one thing’s for sure: the second section of the RurUfer-Radweg cycling trail has a few highlights of its own. Heading from the health resort of Heimbach to the Eifel lake plateau, it now passes imposing rock massifs and mighty castles and fortresses on its way into the Börde, with its gently rolling hills. You can also explore Düren, ‘Paper City’, and the destination of Jülich with its beautiful fortifications.
