RurUfer-Radweg
The cycle route leads via Monschau to Einruhr, along the Rursee through the Rureifel, past Düren, Jülich and through the Heinsberg region to Roermond. The route is as varied as the watercourse: sometimes it flows gently, sometimes it leaves rushing heights behind it. The history of water comes to life along the edge of the RurUfer cycle path: Cloth production, dams, paper production - interesting museums are waiting to bring cyclists closer to the water experience. In terms of landscape, the High Fens, unique in Europe, and the still young Eifel National Park offer a pure nature experience. The stations along the route allow individual route and stage planning and also make it possible to experience some individual stages as a day trip.
