There is no way around the Vicht. Now there is even one around Vicht. IG Schönes Vicht e.V. is realizing an ambitious project with the Lehmjöres-Weg and is thus making a further contribution to making our home town attractive for its residents and guests.

It is called the Lehmjöres-Weg because the people of Vichter have always been called Lehmjörese. Unfortunately, it is not clear where this "nickname" comes from. However, this name is intended to establish a direct link to our home town.

Over a length of approx. 13.2 km, hikers and nature lovers can expect many wonderful views, for example from the Kranzberg, the Langen-Feld or the Kluckstein. The trail leads through meadows and fields, over hilltops and through shady high forest.

The hiking trail passes through the historic town center and touches four different nature reserves and three different landscape conservation areas. Geological outcrops and botanical features turn nature into an experience.
