The Million Dollar Line Route is a real treat for rail enthusiasts. You can see Million Dollar Line station and heritage park: the heritage railway line through the hills and valleys of South Limburg, which is still regularly travelled by an authentic steam train. You can also explore the rural environment south of Simpelveld, with its rolling fields and strips of dense forest. Start this walking route at Natuurtransferium Simpelveld, where you can also park for free, and follow the yellow poles. Once back in Simpelveld it's only a short distance to the bustling town centre, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee.
