Discover the National Park region in winter and enjoy the clear winter air in a landscape covered in hoarfrost that glistens enchantingly in the sun. If the weather permits, there will be plenty of snow in the Monschau region and the steep Rur valley with the adjoining forests and meadows around the Monschau villages will be transformed into a paradise for ski and snow fans.

Three different cross-country ski trails, each about five kilometers long, are available in the Monschau-Höfen area, for example, in appropriate snow conditions that allow the use of trackers.

• Antoniusbrücke cross-country ski trail, 4.5 kilometers,
• Wahlerscheid trail, 5.5 kilometers,
• Rothe Kreuz cross-country ski trail, 5 kilometers,

Depending on your mood, you can combine the cross-country ski trail tours in different variations. The Antoniusbrücke trail shown here covers a total of 4.5 kilometers. It is also possible to include the Wahlerscheid cross-country ski trail, although this would extend the distance by 5.5 km.
