Eifel-Höhen-Route - Etappe 2 Hellenthal-Einruhr
Hellenthal
First, the route follows the northern bank of the picturesque Oleftalsperre dam, passing the bird of prey station and the game reserve in Hellenthal . Through the charming landscape of the Perlenbach and Fuhrtsbachtal valleys, whose meadows turn into magnificent carpets of flowers in spring, the route continues via Kalterherberg to the cloth-making town of Monschau, where the old town with its half-timbered facades invites you to linger.
