On this route you cross the unique hill country, which with its wide meadows and fields on the sun-drenched hills is a true Arcadia. Roadside crosses and chapels, pretty villages with timber-frame farms, the winding valley of the Geul and a variety of beautiful castles, you'll find them all on this route. Don't be discouraged by the steep climbs. Once at the top, the view is unforgettable, and you'll find plenty of terraces and cafés along the way in which to catch your breath. Of course you can always hire an E-bike. Parking is available at the Polfermolen sport and recreation centre in Valkenburg.
