Wasserburgen-Route: Etappe 7b Düren-Euskirchen-Kuchenheim
The route leads through Zülpicher Börde and Drover Heide past numerous imposing castles to Zülpich, where the 2014 State Garden Show took place. In addition to the grounds of the State Garden Show, the small town boasts numerous historical buildings and relics from Roman times. From Zülpich, the route continues to Euskirchen-Kuchenheim with the LVR Museum in the former cloth factory. A detour to the town center of Euskirchen with the historic town fortifications and the Kulturhof and Stadtmusem Euskirchen is also worthwhile.
