Simmerath-Einruhr

The tour starts at the Finkenauel parking lot in Simmerath-Erkensruhr. From this parking lot, it is around 1.3 kilometers to the start of the Creation Trail, as shown on the map of the area. The actual Creation Trail is three kilometers long and can be extended into a circular route. It leads uphill along ten stations to the Leykaul on the Dreiborn plateau. Panels with secular texts and excerpts from the Bible accompany you. A stone labyrinth is also integrated. It symbolizes the path to the center and thus to yourself.

Refreshment stops and the small villages along the route are also waiting to be discovered by you. You first cycle from Zerkall through the idyllic Kalltal valley to Zweifallshammer. The actual circular cycle route then begins there and leads in the direction of Schmidt and from here through forests and meadows to Rollesbroich, past the Kalltal dam to Simonskall and back to Zweifallshammer.
