Nachtwächter-Führung
The cozy flair of Stolberg's old town with its narrow alleyways and picturesque nooks and crannies can be felt in a special way when you dive into the darkness of the night and the secrets of the recent and more distant past with the night watchman as dusk falls.
The starting point of the night watchman's tour is often Kaiserplatz, which can be considered the center of Stolberg's new town. In this case, the transition from the new town with its spacious and representative Wilhelminian style architecture to the actual old town is particularly charming, with its quiet alleyways, interlocking architecture and steep staircases conveying a feeling of security, especially in this day and age.
During the walk through Stolberg's past, a wealth of stories and incidents are told, some of which are informative, often funny, sometimes scary, but always entertaining.
Our journey through time is also very exciting and in the truest sense of the word "approachable" because the night watchman, who accompanies you with a lantern and in traditional garb, tells his wondrous stories at the authentic locations (i.e. where they are said to have taken place).
Individual bookings for groups of up to 25 people are possible on many desired dates.
