Two special features in one place: The water art in the inner courtyard of the so-called Aachen Window is reminiscent of the underground bubbling springs in Aachen. The hot springs were already enjoyed by the Romans in their time in the Imperial Baths. Today, you can get your feet wet when the inner courtyard is flooded as an installation. However, if you prefer it dry, you can also take the path over the raised stones. The Aachen Window is also a defining element of the cityscape, offering a wonderful view of the cathedral and town hall.
