Von-Halfern-Park

On the edge of the "Öcher Bösch" and surrounded by greenery, the Von Halfern Park is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. However, it is not only popular because of its beautiful view, but above all because of its unusually diverse and exotic tree population: trees of the gods line up here alongside pyramid oaks and primeval sequoias. What is also unusual is what the former owner Friedrich von Halfern accommodated on this sloping site. In addition to a forest bowling and boccia alley, there is also said to have once been a place for archery. Today, the park invites you to enjoy a leisurely picnic with the whole family or to relax after a hike in the Aachen Forest.
