Theresienkirche

The former Catholic church, which is dedicated to St. Theresa of Avila, was built in the 18th century by Laurenz Mefferdatis. However, its true splendor unfolds in its interior: Entirely in the rococo style, Johann Joseph Couven was responsible for its design. After being almost completely destroyed in the Second World War, it was rebuilt in its 18th century form and its interior was reconstructed in the 1970s. Today, the Romanian Orthodox community "Holy Trinity" celebrates its Sunday service in the Theresienkirche.
