Normally, RWTH Aachen University is mainly known as a technical university. On Augustinerplatz, however, a sculpture awaits you that was erected by the students of the Chair of Sculpture at RWTH in 1971. Under the direction of Prof. E. Hillebrand, 87 individual stones were used to create a stele on the theme of the "Third World" with a multitude of small, playful details.
