The “Rurseezentrum” offers leisure and swimming fun for large and small visitors. Many guests feel at home in the spacious park on hot days.

There is the popular natural swimming pool, whose clear water is appreciated by all visitors. The laid-out sandy beach with a shallow water zone for children and a playground leaves nothing to be desired for exuberant water fun for young and old. Everyone will find a place on the spacious bathing area, whether in the sun or under one of the numerous beautiful trees. In the summer months, the DLRG (German Lifeguard Association) is on site and watches over the bathing operations (in the summer holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia and on the weekends from May to August.

A beach volleyball field and a soccer field are available for those who love sports. Romping is expressly desired.

Anglers are allowed to settle in a certain area with an appropriate fishing permit. Permits are available at the Seppi‘s Eck kiosk (Bollard 21) or at Mikes Anglertreff (In den Brüchen 36) in Rurberg. The angler's meadow also has a barrier-free jetty.

The popular motorhome parking space is directly adjacent to the “Rurseezentrum”. There are 21 parking spaces available as well as facilities for supply and disposal. The place is chargeable.

Dogs may be brought along in the upper area of the “Rurseezentrum” and are kept on a leash. The area around the lake and bathing in the lake is not permitted for dogs.

Barbece is expressly prohibited in whole area.
