Propsteikirche St. Adalbert
Aachen
There are quite a few churches in Aachen, but St. Adalbert's can look back on a tradition of more than 1000 years. The abbey church was consecrated to St. Adalbert of Prague in 1005. It was not until 1935 that it was elevated to the status of a provost church.
The 1000-year tradition of the church is evident from its numerous relics. The use of the church has changed over the years, as today it is a meeting place for art and church as well as music and religion.
