Pferdelandschaftspark

As part of the Euregionale 2008, the cities of Aachen, Herzogenrath and Kerkrade decided to create a local recreation area for their inhabitants. The result is a cross-border landscape park that creates a special recreational space for visitors to walk, jog or cycle in a variety of attractive landscapes. The park is divided into the areas of the Lousberg, the Soers, the Hasenwalder Feld and the Horbacher Börde. Incidentally, the name goes back to the Pferdelandpark, which forms the basis of the recreational area concept.
