Mundolph und Gundolph
Aachen
It depicts two deceased bishops from Maastricht named Mundolph and Gundolph. According to legend, they made their way to Aachen after their deaths to take part in the consecration of today's Aachen Cathedral. As the rattling of their skeletons could be heard from afar, the street in which they arrived in Aachen is called Klappergasse.
