The Last Trace is a path carved in stone to commemorate the victims of the immunodeficiency disease AIDS. Deliberately placed at the passageway to the cathedral courtyard, the path is half on municipal ground and half on church ground. The Last Trace symbolizes the existence of AIDS and does not let anyone forget that HIV can affect anyone.
