Kupfermeisterfriedhof Stolberg
Stolberg
The history of the Stolberg copper masters' cemetery is just as old as the history of industrialization in the region. The resting place got its name from the burial of all the famous copper master families of the early Stolberg metal industry. The oldest graves date back to the second half of the 17th century. The gravestones and crypts in the grounds of the Finkenberg church are decorated with all kinds of symbols and images that refer to the guild of copper masters and are among the oldest images of this guild.
