Kloster der Aachener Franziskanerinnen

The order of the "Poor Sisters of St. Francis" has its motherhouse in Aachen's old town, alongside the Alverno House in Mechernich and the Damiano House in the south of Aachen. The convent is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and provides an atmosphere of peace and quiet in which to slow down and reflect.
Days of reflection, conferences in the convent or staying overnight and working in the convent give visitors the opportunity to get to know the order, the Franciscan nuns and their work.
