Katschhof

The Katschhof was the inner courtyard of Charlemagne's palace and the connecting point between the Königshalle (now Aachen Town Hall) and St. Mary's Church (now Aachen Cathedral). During the Christmas season, part of Aachen's Christmas market takes place on the square. From the steps at the town hall, you have a great view of the Katschhof and a beautiful view of Aachen Cathedral.
