Johannisbach

Like the Johannisbach, many of Aachen's streams were connected to the sewer system between 1875 and 1908 and laid underground for hygienic reasons. In June 1999, the Johannisbach was one of the first streams to be reopened and since then has not only delighted young and old, but also the city's four-legged friends. It flows from Lindenplatz to Pontstraße.
