Hermann-Heusch-Platz
Aachen
There is a lot to discover at Hermann-Heusch-Platz. The small fountain for the Paubach, for example, which was created by Benno Werth. There is also the so-called bluestone sculpture "Through the Wall" (1985) by Heinz Tobolla, which is a reminder of the division of Germany, which was still real at the time. On the way into the residential complex, a real Duemjroef, an Aachen rascal by Hubert Löneke, sits on the right-hand side. The European spiral on the wall is by Manfred Bredohl, while the bust to the right was made by Hermann Heusch. The children on stilts were created by Krista Löneke-Kemmerling in 1983.
