Die Sitzende

This is the second time since 1962 that the seated figure has taken its place in the Burtscheid spa garden. It was stolen in December 2015. Thanks to a public campaign and the support of the initial financier, Aachener Bank, her twin sister was acquired in January 2016. The artist Heike Dobberkau still had it in her own possession and was delighted to be able to present the seated figure to the people of Burtscheid for the second time.
