Burg Frankenberg

Many a legend has grown up around the former moated castle. Charlemagne is said to have given his third wife Fastrada a ring that would bind her to the great Franconian ruler forever. After her death, Bishop Turpin found the ring and threw it into the castle moat. Since then, the ghost of Charlemagne has repeatedly visited Frankenberg Castle. Only here can he find peace.
