Aachener Wald

Whether you want to go for a walk and hike with the family or be active as a couple, the Aachen Forest in the south of the city offers plenty of opportunities with its numerous hiking trails. A detour to Belgium or the Netherlands can also be made quickly via the Aachen Forest, as it stretches across national borders. There are a total of six signposted forest hiking trails of varying lengths from just under 3 kilometers to over 5 kilometers. They are marked with different colors.
