Aachener Chronoskope®

The Chronoskope®, the only one of its kind in the world, gives visitors to Aachen's city center the opportunity to experience a journey through the history of the imperial city. The metal steles are around 2.50 m high and offer young and old a glimpse into the past through three eyepieces at different heights. At the touch of a button, 2-minute animations with interesting information are played free of charge and in four different languages (DE, EN, FR, NL). The Chronoskope® are set up at the following locations: Markt, Hühnermarkt, Hof, Münsterplatz, Katschhof and Kräutergarten.
